Mark Dankof’s Response To Jim Tucker at American Free Press

To: Jim Tucker, Editor
American Free Press
Washington, D. C.

Dear Mr. Tucker:

Your open letter raises more questions than it answers.  On the one hand, you refer to “our valued correspondent, Mark Glenn.” On the other hand, you have accused Mr. Glenn of “Jew-baiting hysteria.”  This is Orwellian doublespeak, par excellence.

I have regularly read Mr. Glenn’s AFP columns in recent years, even as their frequency in publication clearly diminished after Christopher Petherick left AFP and you assumed the role of Editor.  Let me say for the record that his columns are insightful, accurate, and articulate, while hitting the nail on the head in regard to the Israeli Lobby, Israel’s actions in Palestine and Gaza, and the Zionist State’s role in utilizing the military of the United States as a surrogate military force in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

The utilization of the phrase “Jew-baiting hysteria” is not “subject to wide misunderstanding.” It clearly conveys the notion that Mr. Glenn is an irresponsible reporter operating from racial bias, bigotry, and malice.  It is a most serious charge, and one that is patently false.

Rather than suggest that your characterization of Mark Glenn’s writings for AFP was misunderstood, why not simply admit that your clearly intended description of him and his work for your newspaper was a serious error and one worthy of a public apology?

After all, since in your own words, AFP is the only newspaper you know of that “promises–and does–correct every error,” why not begin with setting the record straight on a moral, journalistic, and political error on your part so egregious that it begs confession and expiation before the credibility of AFP–and its subscriber list–end up with a one-way ticket to Sheol?

And what does your libelous description of Mr. Glenn imply about two of your other correspondents, Victor Thorn and Michael Collins Piper, and their collaboration with Glenn on a new book on the USS Liberty being promoted by your newspaper?  Are they too, flirting with “Jew-baiting hysteria?”

If American Free Press (AFP) and Mark Glenn have found it necessary to part company after all these years, then it is clearly AFP’s loss. Mark Glenn is an exceptionally fine writer. He has helped to transmit his ideas to hundreds of thousands of people who remain his loyal fans. Perhaps we can put this reft down to two factors: (a) a clash of personalities between Mark Glenn and AFP’s new editor, Jim Tucker; or(b) the fact that Mark Glenn’s ideas are a bit too radical and outré for AFP’s new management — hence the charge of “Jew-baiting.”

Certainly, Mark Glenn does not mince his words. He calls a spade a spade. His sincerity is obvious. But I do think the charge of “Jew-baiting hysteria” is patently false if only for this reason: in writing about Israel’s recent atrocities in Gaza, an occasion when most other anti-Zionist commentators might have been tempted to lose their cool, Mark Glenn’s language showed remarkable restraint. There was no spitting rage or vile abuse or intemperate speech of any kind. Mark Glenn’s approach was measured and relatively sedate.

To talk of Mark Glenn’s “Jew-baiting hysteria” is therefore not only irresponsible and unfair, it positively borders on the absurd.

I find it noteworthy that Ray Goodwin of The Barnes Review, Malaysian-based American Free Press book author Matthias Chang, USS Liberty survivor Phil Tourney, and Dr. Adrian Krieg of A2Z Publications, have all already weighed in with support for my perspective in this open letter to Jim Tucker.

I have seen this kind of thing happen before on other websites. The brilliant Israel Shamir used to be in favor at one time with Electronic Intifada, for which he used to write articles. Then he fell foul of its editor (or key writer) Ali Abunimah who thought himself a cut above Shamir. Abunimah denounced Shamir as an imposter. He and his associates on Electronic Intifada began to spread vicious lies about Shamir: basically, that Shamir was a “fake Jew”, an anti-Semitic, Russian-born neo-Nazi. They said he lived in Stockholm (not in Israel), and that every biographical detail he’d given about himself was totally false.

This is what happened to Shamir, but Shamir then moved on to better things.

So it will be with Mark Glen. Having severed his ties with AFP, Mark will be able to move on now and do his own thing in his own way. We wish him good luck.

    Well said Mark!

As a retired US. veteran, I too lend my full support to Mark Glenn.Letting Mark Glenn go, is American Free Press loss.

Tim Tucker, AFP new editor is now turning the news organization into a corporation with a giant mailing list.

Accusing Mark Glenn of Jewish bashing and antisemitism is phony charges and affront to all of his loyal readers. Instead of calling it American Free press, you would be are more

accurate by calling it ACP [ American Captive Press.]

Readers can express their outrage by showing their support to Mark Glenn and order a copy of a copy of his new book, “A Ship Without A Country.” Mark needs all of us. Let us not leave him hanging. That is my two cents on the subject. Thank You all.

    From earlier thread:

“My message to my fellow Americans is …if these Rabbis are guilty as charged, have faith in our laws, let our laws give them what they deserve.”

No dice, darling. We Jews control the law. You goyim may have written the statute books, but WE interpret the law. Ever heard of Harvard Law School? Almost everyone who graduates there is a Jew. In 50 years time, every single judge and attorney in America will be a Jew. And you goyim expect us to treat you fairly after Auschwitz?

No sir, it’s time for revenge! And our revenge is going to be long, sweet and deadly. You’ve got it coming.

    Ummm…Ruth…”after Auschwitz”?

What the hell does that mean? Are you referring to the 4 million…no, sorry, I meant 2.5 million…darnit…the 1.1 million…man, it’s so bloody hard to get this right…let’s go with Bishop Williamson’s roughly 300,000 who succumbed to typhus and whatever other nasty shite you dirty bastards were passing amongst one another. But I digress, much as Ruthie has. Can you deal with the actual subject of the posting, bubbelah?

Let’s call this spade by its real name – controlled dissent. I suppose this happened to IHR, when Mark Weber took the reins, and then proceeded to water down their mission.

Jim, take any junkets to Israel lately? Have a nice little paid tryst with a tight, young Israeli boy, only to have it captured on film?

If you’re resolved to be a scumbag, why not just edit for the New York Post?

Mark Glenn is a brilliant, perceptive, insightful man. He forms original theses and then supports the ideas with undisputed facts. I continually learn from him. I subscribe to American Free Press but Jim Tucker has now made the biggest mistake of his career. I will never donate to AFP now and I must ask myself ” What’s really going on with Tucker and AFP?”

I am convinced “somebody” has applied considerable pressure on Jim Tucker, unless he himself is already an infiltrator whose mission is to gradually filter out all serious journalists, that is, sincere and brave journalists who are not afraid of the Tikun Olam Yehudim (Jewish World Order).

A few days ago, after nearly a year of collaboration with the “Palestinian Mothers” website (UK), suddenly, out of the blue, the webmistress Iqbal Tamimi, who used to address me as “sweetheart” suspended me and removed all my posts, videos and mp3 talks. I never clashed with any of her “800” or so members! But, I know that “somebody” has been pressurising the few members who tried to communicate with me!

I thanked Mrs Tamimi for her hospitality and asked her where did the instructions to suspend me come from, from MI5, MI6, Scotland Yard or from the Knesset. She did not reply!

Accusing Mr Glenn of “Jew-baiting hysteria” is not only childish, unprofessional, false and malicious, but looks more like a typical Zionist accusation! If an apology is not made rapidly, my mind about the “gentleman” Tucker will not change.

Glenn’s forthcoming USS Liberty book is dynamite, and the criminal Jews know it! So, they must have already got involved in order to try to silence Mr Glenn, discredit him or worse!
