Hundreds of ultra-Orthodox protesters riot in flashpoint town of Beit Shemesh

Haaretz

Hundreds of ultra-Orthodox Jews protested on Thursday evening on a Beit Shemesh street, throwing rocks, blocking the road and burning trash cans. Police arrived in large numbers and have so far arrested three of the rioters.

The incident began as a small local gathering of about 20 people, who waved signs with slogans attacking Zionism. Shmuel Fefenheim, who lives nearby, said that “this group has been coming out every night recently with signs. Today, because of the atmosphere and people under arrest, someone decided to set fire to a large trash can and things spiraled from there.”

Earlier on Thursday, An 8-year-old girl who became the symbol of a recent public struggle against gender segregation and religious extremism returned to school for the first time since a violent incident that sparked a nation-wide protest movement.

Na’ama Margolese turned into a household name last week after Channel 2 broadcasted a segment in which the young girl’s described being spat on and accosted by ultra-Orthodox men over what they deemed to be her indecent apparel.

The story soon became a focal point for a rising protest movement against the exclusion of women in the public sphere, with thousands of Israelis amassing in Beit Shemesh to speak out against gender segregation.

The Israeli Palestinian Conflict did not start out as a Religious conflict. It was simply for Palestinians a matter of Jews coming back into Palestine and telling them that they wanted to settle there and at first, Palestinians welcomed them as brothers. It was not until they found out that the Jewish Agenda was to take the Land of Palestine and make it a Homeland for Jews that the fighting began. Even then, the Palestinians did not make it a religious fight because Palestinians were made up of Christians, Muslims, Jews, Druze, and many other sects. They had lived together happily until these new Jews who now turned out to be completely unlike the Jews who had lived amongst the Palestinians for centuries and were greedy, ill mannered, rough, arrogant, thieves, murderers and had no respect either for the land or the people. It was not until 1967 after the Israelis blatently lied to the world about the start of the 6-day war and led it to believe that they had been attacked when in fact they had planned and initiated a pre-emptive strike on Egypt, Syria and Jordan and when it was over in 6 days they had taken Har Golan, The West Bank, Jerusalem and Gaza together with Sinai. Of course they portrayed it as a Mitzvah or blessing and a miracle from God. A sign that they were to go ahead with The plan for THE GREATER ISRAEL. THIS IS WHEN ISRAEL MADE IT A JEW vs MUSLIM fight. Last week, one of Lieberman’s assistants when asked if Israel was at war with all Muslims in the World, he answered “Yes, we want to rid ourselves of every last one of them.” Of course they intend to use others to do the job for them.

Well said. It was the jews who started this mess and it has always been the jews who have been waging war against humanity and against God for thousands of years.
