Russia–U.S. Behind Deliberate Murder Of Qadhafi

Russia has accused the United States and NATO of large-scale violations of human rights during the military operation in Libya, including the deliberate murder of its leader Muammar Gaddafi and the killing of hundreds of civilians.

The NATO forces “made the overthrow and murder of the Colonel their main goal,” said the Russian Foreign Ministry in its first report on the state of human rights in the world.

Citing unnamed sources, the report said the order to liquidate Qadhafi was given to U.S., French and British commandos. The Russian Foreign Ministry details numerous instances of mass killings of hundreds of civilians and destruction of infrastructure in NATO bombing raids in Libya.

The U.S. is the main target of the Russian report, which also criticises the human rights record in Britain, Canada, Finland, the Baltic states and Georgia.

Russia took President Barack Obama to task for his failure to shut the “odious” prison at Guantanamo Bay and accused the White House of sheltering officials guilty of torture.

“The situation in the United States is a far cry from the ideals proclaimed by Washington,” said the Russian Foreign Ministry in a 90-page report posted on its website.

“Old systemic problems of American society are growing more serious, including racial discrimination, xenophobia, overcrowded prisons, unjustified capital punishment, including the execution of innocent people, imperfect electoral system and corruption, ” said the report. Rhetoric

The report was released as Moscow hardened its rhetoric against the U.S. on such issues as missile defence and interference in Russian internal affairs. The new head of the Russian Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, Alexei Pushkov, said the “reset” in Russian-U.S. relations had come to an end.

“The U.S. had desisted from discussing the domestic situation in Russia as part of the ‘reset’. Clinton violated this tacit agreement,” said Mr. Pushkov. “I think we have entered a phase when the U.S. will no longer show restraint towards Russia.”

Aisha Gaddafi claims severe emotional distress at images of father’s execution

Gaddafi family members fled to Algeria

The daughter of the former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has hired an Israeli lawyer to petition the international criminal court to investigate the circumstances of the death of her father.

Aisha Gaddafi, who fled Libya in August before the capture and killing of her father by opposition forces, claims to have been caused “severe emotional distress” by the images of his death and the treatment of his body.

Nick Kaufman, a former senior prosecutor at the ICC and now an international lawyer based in Jerusalem, wrote to the ICC prosecutor Jose Luis Moreno-Ocampo earlier this month to demand an immediate investigation.

Gaddafi and his son Mutassim, Aisha’s brother, “were murdered in the most horrific fashion with their bodies thereafter displayed and grotesquely abused in complete defiance of Islamic law. The images of this savagery were broadcast throughout the world causing my client severe emotional distress,” said the letter, which has been seen by the Guardian.

Kaufman demanded answers to a series of questions, including whether the ICC was investigating the circumstances of the deaths, whether it had received reports of postmortem examinations of the bodies, why the ICC had not ordered its own independent postmortem, and whether it was investigating an alleged attack by Nato forces on Gaddafi’s convoy shortly before his capture and killing.

“To date, neither Ms Gaddafi nor any member of her family has been informed by your office of the initiation of an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the brutal murders,” said the letter, sent on 13 December.

A reply sent a week later from an ICC official, Phakiso Mochochoko, said the Libyan authorities had promised to Gaddafi’s death, and that the ICC’s prosecutors’ office would report on their progress in May.

“The [prosecution] strategy will depend on the activities of the Libyan national authorities and whether they are genuinely carrying out such investigations,” the letter said. It added that the prosecutors had a duty of impartiality and “consistently stressed the need to investigate allegations of war crimes committed by different parties to the conflict in Libya”.

Kaufman said the term “different parties” included Nato as well the opposing Libyan forces. “We don’t think the [present Libyan government] has the capacity or will to investigate this crime. We are demanding an immediate investigation by the ICC.”

A delay until May would mean the loss of ballistic and forensic evidence and increased difficulties in identifying objective eyewitnesses, he said.

Gaddafi and his son were captured on 20 October near his home town of Sirte, after their convoy was hit by a Nato air strike. He was shot, beaten and reportedly sodomised by a stick before being dragged through the streets. His bullet-ridden and decomposing body was kept in a cold storage room in Misrata for six days, and viewed by thousands of Libyans, before burial at a secret desert location.

Aisha Gaddafi fled to Algeria with her mother and two brothers soon after the fall of Tripoli. Last month she called for a revolt against Libya’s new leaders, saying: “My father has not left, he is always among us. Don’t forget the orders of your father urging you to continue fighting, even if you no longer hear his voice.”

The ICC issued arrest warrants in June for Gaddafi, his son Saif al-Islam and the former head of state security Abdullah Senussi for crimes against humanity. Saif al-Islam was captured last month and is being held in Libya, where he could be tried, rather than extradited to The Hague.

Kaufman denied reports that Aisha Gaddafi could seek asylum in Israel. “She has not raised the issue of asylum with me, not once,” he said, describing it as a ludicrous suggestion.

Kaufman said he had no qualms about representing the daughter of the former Libyan leader. “She is not suspected of or charged with any criminal offence, and she has a legitimate complaint,” he said. She had approached him because he was a former ICC prosecutor who had since successfully challenged the international court. “It’s nothing to do with the fact that I’m Israeli,” he added.

    OK, they answered that one..

Gadaffi was thrown to the sadistic “rebels”, as anyone else would throw a bone to a rabid pack of dogs, it was disgusting, but on a par with today`s behaviour by the US/UK/NATO/Israel.. I repeat, they are disgusting..

“The ICC issued arrest warrants in June for Gaddafi, his son Saif al-Islam and the former head of state security Abdullah Senussi for crimes against humanity.”

The ICC is a political body working for the West and NATO. It has no legitimacy in matters of International Law, co competence and is always POLITICALLY MOTIVATED.

The arrest warrants were politically motivated and a deliberate act of injustice, barbarism and a CALL FOR THE MASS MURDER OF LIBYANS AND ITS LEADERS.

In its TUT Podcast of Dec 29, 2011 with Keith Johnson, Brother Mark Glenn speaks of the EMASCULATED Christian Churches. This is sadly the fact, but the Muslim nations as a whole have proved they too have been EMASCULATED!

Muslims have allowed too many crimes to be perpetrated against Muslims and non Muslims alike and must be held accountable as well.

ISRAEL IS NOT A SIGNATORY to the ICC Criminal Court. Why then are Israeli Lawyers allowed to practice Law at the ICC?

“Citing unnamed sources, the report said the order to liquidate Qadhafi was given to U.S., French and British commandos. “…but maddeningly they won’t say who gave the order to U.S. French & British.

Who is it that clandestinely sits in the dark, partitioned off corner of the ‘ international war room’?
This one would assume that it is the zionists that did order the execution of a leader of a sovereign nation.

I am emotionally distressed when I see any photo of the barbaric martyrdom of Gaddafi that was carried out so gleefully. I cannnot fathom the depth of Aisha’s grief and mourning.

The order to assassinate Muammar Al-Ghaddafi was OFFICIALLY given by the Reagan Administration a long time ago (Ronald Reagan the Butcher-Cowboy!). In the past the Us had even bombed him and killed a member of his family instead. It was the time when F. Mitterand the French President (who had not joined NATO) refused to carry out this operation from France. But, now, with Jewish Sarkozy as President, of France and who has immediately joined NATO this was made possible.

Happy New Year Basheer, I agree Reagan was a minor demon but don’t get why his orders would be valid 20 years or whatever many years have passed since he passed to that great Hollywood movie lot in the sky.

And being muslim why would she hire an Israel lawyer? But she is a jew as her father’s mother was a jew. It is the mothers that make the boys zionists, the way they mother. So is that why she hired a jew lawyer? When a muslim lawyer would have been more knowledgable? But the israeli lawyer is more undermining, but not trustworthy, except that she is jewish. well lets just hope that something good comes of this and it is not another OJ Simpson set up.

I think we safely can assume that those who gave the order to Nato to kill Qadhafi are the same who control the ICC and let that court issue arrest warrants for him and his son Saif. These are the same people who started the war on Libya in the first place, in order to grab its oil and water wealth and control its central bank. These are also the same people who were behind the creation of Israel. It is therefore highly suspect that it is exactly an ISRAELI lawyer who should help Aisha Qadhafi. Probably he has come foreward to (subtly) sabotage her case, a tactic these deceitful people are very good at.

She hired an Israeli lawyer? This is absolutely ridiculous. Why Isralei? will he have more credibility before the ICC?

Quaddafi’s mother was jewish. He probably is not dead His job was to get Libya’s irrigation system in for the NATO coountries to take. NATO threatened Libya and attacked barely two months after the completion of the massive irrigation project.

bin Laden died of kidney disease just over ten years ago. He was a convenient foil in the Bush/bin Laden criminal cabal(see Carlyle corp.).

I saw this about a month ago and it reinforced previous fake death incidents used for financial advantage. Scams. After saddam Hussein was ‘captured from a spider hole retreat’, the green dates on the tree in the background, supposedly in october, proved unexplainable except for branding the spiderhole picture as phony. Saddam’s wife and daughter each visited this captured ‘Saddam Hussein’ in his cell and immediately turned around and walked out, indignantly saying, “This is not Saddam.”This is a trick to take the edge off retaliation or in Gaddafi’s case, an escape from a nation fooled and exploited before pillaged raped and murdered.just who put Gaddafi in power? And what Vast irrigation project in a vast desert could economically save Britain’s ass if they could steal it, using American idiots?

  18. #18 by Lindsey on January 3, 2012 - 1:49 am

Look, that was NOT Saddam who was on-trial and executed, and THE PROOF WAS THAT THE REAL SADDAM’S TEETH WERE PERFECT AND SCULPTED, while the fake-Saddam’s teeth were yellowed and crooked.

THIS IS A FACT, and I will argue with ANYONE who says otherwise.

Qaddafi…that is a whole other kettle-of-fish. There is no proof as there was with Saddam, so I will believe that Qaddafi is dead, BUT SADDAM WAS NOT THE MAN “TRIED” AND EXECUTED–that is a FACT due to the photographic evidence.

    End of discussion.
