Tonight’s program–Gilad Atzmon discussing the latest attacks against his work by ‘pro-Palestinian’ activists as being ‘racist’ and SURPRISE, SURPRISE–’anti-semitic’.
There is a rapid progression in the process distinguishing controlled versus uncontrolled opposition. GA and Mark are being kind, but the truth is that Ali Abunimah is controlled opposition after all and as such will be an obstacle or an hindrance towards the true delivery from oppression.
The Secular groups must pay attn to our wants and discourse not to the wants and discourse of the Israeli lobbies. The commitment towards the cessation of oppression and true justice requires strong bold men and women who will quick the line in the sand that the other side hypocritically draws for us.
We must keep in mind that, although there may be many listeners to this podcast who feel that most of the Israeli population should simply vacate Israel-Palestine in favor of Palestinian dominance in the region, Gilad Atzmon himself does not call for that.
Gilad has made it clear that he believes in the total integration of all resident Israelis with the Palestinians in a “one-state democracy” with equal rights for all its citizens, after the pattern of America and England.
In this regard I absolutely agree with him!! He clarifies his position in the interview below:

Gilad has reminded me that I should not use the terms APARTHEID and COLONY (a mistake I do often without any smart guy pointing it out to me!) because I agree with him that these two terms do not apply to the Israelis!
The perspective of Gilad may not be the same as mine, but as he says, he is interested with THE TRUTH and INTEGRITY, and I am quite content with this as the driving force of all our thinking and doing,

Basheer and Ingrid, I have read your comments above. It seems that many people posting on this site do approve of Gilad Atzmon and they admire him greatly! However, not everyone agrees with Gilad completely, and that is understandable.
All I am doing is pointing out to all the listeners of “The Ugly Truth” podcast exactly where Gilad Atzmon stands in relation to the Israeli-Palestinian problem. He absolutely calls for the integration of our peoples in the Middle East, and not the expulsion of any group in any way. If you find this distasteful, then I’m sorry! It’s not my fault for pointing out where he stands! I’m just the messenger. I happen to agree with his recommendations, but there may be other areas where he and I have a different opinion. We have to try to be more tolerant here. That is the point of a democratic discourse!
It’s time we learned to live in peace and overcome the hatreds of the past regardless of who is to blame!! Is this not the will of Jesus Christ??

He is not referring to rapists and criminals! You seem to have a very negative outlook on practically all Israelis making any kind of dialogue with you very difficult.
The bottom line is that Gilad Atzmon and I both agree that peace can be achieved by a total democracy and integration of both of our peoples without resorting to any Machiavellian measures to eradicate either culture.
There will be peace on earth when Jesus rules! In the meantime, let’s pray for His return!
