The main problem for Syria is the so-called “opposition”, who`se backers, and facilitators, obviously do not want peaceful negotiations.

Putin is backing off from previous statement that he would not let foreign power dictate the future of Syria, It is more than time for him to bang on the table with his shoe if necessary.
A la Kroutchev!

Dear Ingrid actually the revolution started of peacefully like the Egyptian one however the government refused to allow for the peaceful recourse and they still refuse to step down to let the will of the majority take place.
The onus is on them to allow the bloodshed to stop.
They have to step down.
Allow others to come up with a more equitable and less oppressive process.

MJ, I`m not talking about the peaceful demonstrators, they have every right to make demands, and I really believe their demands will be heard, but right now, is not a good time, those who “claim” to be in opposition, those who infiltrated Syria, with the sole purpose of destabilising, not just the regime, but citizens as well, they must be dealt with first, surely..
I reccommend you watch the video posted here, where RT interviews a nun, who not only “tells it like it is”, but has a solution, together with like minded Syrians.. and, after all, it is the Syrians who must decide.. ps, are you Syrian?

PS, MJ, the way I heard it was, it was the Syrian government, which was willing to negotiate, and the so-called “opposition” who refused..
