Egypt may join Arab intervention in Syria

Egypt may take part in an Arab military intervention in Syria, provided this does not open the door to Western intervention, a political adviser to Egyptian President Mohammed Mursi told Turkey’s Anadolu news agency Saturday.

“We are in principle ready for an Arab intervention in Syria after the limits, goals and features of that intervention are made clear,” said Saif Abdel Fattah.

In a speech before the UN General Assembly Tuesday, Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani called on Arab states to intervene militarily in Syria, citing an Arab-league backed intervention during Lebanon’s civil war as an “effective and useful” precedent.

Analysts have since warned that such a move could trigger a counter-intervention from Iran, sparking an even wider regional conflict.

Abdel Fattah went on to say that Egypt may pressure Turkey to put the Qatari proposal into effect. He added that Mursi would be discussing the issue with Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his visit to Turkey Sunday.

Turkey is an ardent supporter of military intervention in Syria, and has pushed the UN Security Council to impose a no-fly zone over the country. The proposals have been repeatedly shot down by China and Russia.

I feel as sorry fore the muslim people as I feel for the zionist christians, their hearts and soles have harden so much that they don’t see, nor understand the evi they are serving, to the point that they send their own sons and dougthers to death to apeace the evil zionist regime.
and women have always been the messangers of death, that is why they chose the queen of evil hilary clinton to decive them, with false promises, like they did with saddam husein and the libian dictator. to fight their own brothers for the sake of false jews.

Each of the so-called Arab countries or other neighboring country, has it’s own agenda and duty in proposing a so-called Arab military intervention in internal sovereign Syrian conflict with terrorist mercenaries …..
Egypt’s president did not forget his nice photo with beautiful Hilary Clinton plus prepaid/promised millions of US dollars, as well as Turkey’s Erdogan promised millions…thus he cannot but comply!!!
Turkey who sold out unprecedented best fruitful business contacts with neighboring Syria to restore an imagined Ottoman regional domination, cannot but comply to save this terrible blunder,, following at the same time US-NATO uncontested orders!!!
Great Qatar who did so far spend thousands of millions whether in Libya , Egypt or Syria and still spending it’s people’s fortune , cannot but comply to deserve the new title , and blindly implement US masters orders whose military basis control their island !!!
In short because masters cannot repeat the same Libyan scenario in Syria to protect their zionist bosses in Israel from a destructive Syrian military revenge, they try to move their puppet regimes.

Where are the “Arabs” when their brothers are being beaten, abused and jailed by Israel in the WB and Gaza? Why have all these Arab states cooperated with the Zionists?

Don’t Arab states understand that Americans say that, well if they don’t care about Pals, why should we? How did Palestinians get a bad rep among ordinary Arabs before and now?

reply to ontogram – you have to understand most of these governments are family run. from syria to jordan to saudia arabia its a family run state. The real arab opinion is the ARAB STREET and they have always backed the Palestinians, but most of these arabs states have their security apparatuses trained by the west so what do you expext from ppl they speak out and they get beaten up and tortured. But 1 thing is for sure most if not all are waiting for these regimes to disappear and that includes al assad.( Yes syria is being destabilized by foreign mercenaries but ppl want more representation.)

Ingrid. You are absolutely right. Just by looking at the foto. That foto is insinuating that Morsi might get a good night sleep with the lady.
