The Israeli occupation forces have turned the roofs of Palestinian homes in the ancient city of Hebron, south of the West Bank, into military barracks and control points under the pretext of providing security for Jewish settlers during the Hebrew celebrations of the Sukkot Feast.
Human rights sources in the Hebron Rehabilitation Committee reported that a large number of Israeli forces took over the roofs of several Palestinian homes along the lanes of the old town. These houses, including the family home of the Islam Al-Fakhouri in Al-Sahla area, have been turned into military barracks and control towers while the families have been forced to leave.
Israeli soldiers also commandeered the roofs of the Abdulmutallab Abu Sunaina, Imran Abu Rumaila, Daoud Jaber, Nader Salaymeh and AliAl-Rajabi households turning them into control points.
Sources also point out that the regions extending between the settlement of Kiryat Arba, the Cave of the Patriarchs, Tel Rumeida, Al-Shuhada, Al-Ras, and Wadi El-H’aseen streets; and the areas of Al-Masharqa Al-Fawqa and Tahta, are subjected to a blanket Israeli police and army presence.

Anyone who thinks Cast-Lead Ops ever ended is stupid. It’s never ended and it feels like it had no begining, as it’s gone on for more than my lifetime and I am (now) 54.
These animals need to get OUT of the Palestinian lands and homes. Yet, we, Americans; PAY for them to do this?

Ingrid, the illegal squatters that the entity euphemistically call settlers are important for several reasons.
Since the israeli Jews are consumed with paranoia over ‘demographics’ (there are more Palestinian births than Jewish births,) the zionists know that they will be the minority sooner than later.
These land and home usurpers mistakenly called settlers because that has a less threatening feel than the more meaningful term of land thieves, are often religious fanatics. Eager fanatics that believe they are The Almighty’s chosen will be harder to expel from OPT, because they think they are on a divine mission (think of Waco, Texas Branch Davidians,) that were massacred in US when Clinton was president in USA.
Also more Jews are leaving the entity than immigrating to it.
It is my impression that a huge portion of the immoral squatters are from the USA. They are filled with self-righteousness and are particularly cruel, they brazenly run over children with their cars, bully the Palestinians trying to go about their daily business; gangs beating up lone shepherds or murdering and stealing the shepherd’s flocks. Make everyday life for Palestinians a torment of endless waiting and no control over their movement.
Imho, the pricetag terrorists are the benignly titled ‘settlers’, spitting on religious clergy, vandalizing all things that are necessary for life. The Jewish settlers are the epitome of racism and intolerant of every religion but their own.
The settlers have backers with very deep pockets, Moskowitz, casino owner,is one example, he donates vast sums to fund these parasites. If you remember Jack Abramoff, he was giving tons of money to the ‘settlers’, money from crooked dealings with Native Americans. The Native Americans were furious when this was exposed, because they identify with Palestinians, not colonial domination of the indigenous. The Israeli government gives tax advantages to those willing to ignore international law, willing to move into occupied territory which is against Geneva Convention & other treaties Israel is party to. They are also free to exploit Palestine’s natural resources.
The settler (disremember his name, Baruch Goldstien?) who killed over two dozen religiously worshiping Muslims while praying at the Tomb of Patriarch’s, (supposedly where Abraham is buried) has a monument and is commemorated every year. For the cold blooded killing of 29 praying Muslims, he is venerated like a Catholic saint is. Getting late, I’m sure someone will correct these last paragraphs if I have names wrong.
They continue their over sixty five years of Palestinian persecution, ethnic cleansing and exile, while trying to convince the world that they are the True Victims.

Kate; even this ugliest of the unsettling-settler-brigade is American born. One can easily tell by the (lack of) accent, or overlaid “Jewish” accent.
They are the most unsettled people in the world. And, she may be correct that all (true) Jews (descendants of the biblical folk) are not descendants of anyone but northern and eastern European migrants.

Who else is camped out in Occupied Palestine, making practice flights with drones, than US?
I actually did wonder, though; did some poor, down on his luck and ready to make a few sheckles, American soldier, make a deal to allow a drone shot-down in order for IZ to get the “carcass” and use it to steal (more) American technology?
You never do know what is truly going on behind the scenes and nothing should surprise any of us. USA..
