Police on Tuesday arrested a rabbi on suspicion of being involved in stealing Torah scrolls from a synagogue in a southern Israeli community.
Residents of Moshav Brosh in the Negev were surprised to discover during the holiday of Simchat Torah that parchments of seven Torah scrolls had been stolen from the local synagogue and replaced with paperboard.
The rabbi faced a court on Wednesday. In the meantime, police are trying to find out what happened to the parchments and where they disappeared to.
Local resident Mordechai Vaknin, who discovered the theft, told Ynet: “On the eve of the holiday we take out the Torah scrolls for the traditional encircling of the synagogue. One of the scrolls, which belongs to my family, was bought four months ago.
“My eldest son asked to see the scroll for the first time. When he opened it he said, ‘Dad, this isn’t a Torah scroll. There’s no parchment, it’s fake.’ We took a look and realized that it was filled with paperboard, most probably so that we wouldn’t feel a difference when carrying it.”
Each Torah scroll is valued at NIS 50,000-120,000 (about $12,900-31,000).
The suspect said after being arrested, “I’m a bit confused. I intend to return the stuff. I would like to apologize to anyone who might have been hurt by this.”

Not being familiar with Jewish religious customs, I’m curious to know who can be called rabbi? I read that rabbi means teacher, but assumed it meant a teacher of Jewish laws & rules. In US rabbis can be women, I have no idea if that carries over to the entity.
It surprised me that these scrolls are so expensive. Perhaps they are done by hand? To steal these scrolls & then say you intend to give them back sounds like someone in the early stages of dementia or senility.
To me the main point is “Is nothing sacred?”

I very much agree with your reply to Steve Wizeman (reply #77, earlier posts he used the handle Steve Wiseman which is a Jewish name change from Weisman, there was an important Jewish Zionist):

Yes, Judaism is the problem, it has always been the problem, it is the root of the world’s problems, and it was a problem long before the invention of Zionism. At the heart of Judaism is their writings and these so called holy writings are on their scrolls which are housed in temples in fancy containers.
If we are to stop this madness called Judaism, a cult of narcissistic Jewish self worship, then the Torah Scrolls need to be controlled. Additionally all Jews and Zionist Christians infected with the Torah virus be treated for Jewish Narcissistic personality disorder, a disease that is extremely deadly and fatal to anyone found in Jewish infested areas.
Therefore in the interest of humanity all scrolls need to be confiscated and destroyed, anyone caught with a Torah scroll or copy put to death. Seriously, that is what MUST BE DONE!
If you are serious about the problem then we must stop the problem by eliminating the source of the problem. Of course no one is going to take this problem seriously until things get much worse, humanity is doomed and I believe our culture’s obsession with the “end times” and movies about our demise has something to do with the intractable problem we find ourselves in.

The antagonist of this movie, the local gang leader and psychopath, wants a Bible and is willing to kill or do anything to get one. He knows that the Bible is the ultimate weapon, he knows with the Bible that he can rule more than his town, he knows that with the Bible he can get people to voluntarily submit to his authority.
The problem, illustrated perfectly by this movie, is the book. The Jews are the product of the book, they are the carriers of the mind virus. The Jews/Christians are reading this book and becoming infected by the memetic virus that the book has embedded in the text. Because humanity is infected, we experience a daily hell, and our specie is being threatened with its survival. Unfortunately for us, those infected think the book is necessary for our survival.
In conclusion we have learned that Judaism is the root of our problems, that Judaism is based on the Torah scrolls, and these scrolls embed textual phrases and memes that infect the human mind. In order to save ourselves we must overcome all fear and undo the programming and remove the virus and remove the book from planet earth. Forever and ever, Amen!

If they are evil by birth then the problem is with Jewish DNA. That argument can be eliminated because many racist supremacist Jews are NOT Hebrew or Arabic or Semite or whatever criteria one selects for Jewish DNA. Furthermore many non Jews who are European descent are infected by a memetic virus not a genetic one. There are at least 70 million Christian Zionists in America alone, they obviously don’t have Semitic DNA and are just as rabid as an alpha Jewish male.
This meme vs. gene debate seems to never end, if you think the Jews are a race then the DNA argument is often used. I don’t buy it, based on logic I do not agree that its DNA. All I have to do is find just one Hebrew descended person who doesn’t believe and doesn’t practice or believe in supremacism to defeat the DNA argument.
Your next claim that defends the Torah stems from your desire to protect some aspect of Hebrew literature, usually Christians will make this argument that the Talmud is bad but the Torah good, that way they protect the memetic origin of their faith. Sorry all of the Jew books are bad. The Jew god is bad. What the Jew god commands the Hebrews to do in the Torah is really bad. Kill all, leave no stone unturned, total genocide on the other tribe as a command by an all power deity.

The Talmud and Kabbala are derived from the Torah, so how is it that books of pure evil are direct memetic descendents of the Torah if the Torah is good? The Torah is the source and the source is bad, that is why the Talmud is bad. Evil is derived from evil..The Torah is exclusionary, the Torah is a fable of a god making a contract with one race at the expense of all others, the Torah establishes the Jews as god’s chosen ones.

This is not rocket science, this is a simple observation. It all starts with the Torah. Every single evil act a Jew/Zionist/Christian crusader commits originated in the primary holy book.
