Rumors of a UN decision to re-introduce Holocaust studies in schools run by UNRWA — the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees — have raised the ire of Jordanian teachers, who say they will refuse to teach history that “harms the Palestinian cause.”
In a statement issued Monday, the Executive Committee of UNRWA teachers in Jordan responded to rumors that Holocaust studies would be reintroduced this year to the enrichment curriculum on conflict resolution, which is taught in schools operated by the UN agency in Palestinian refugee camps.
“We condemn this decision, which equates the butcher and the victim,” read the teachers’ statement, demanding instead to introduce classes on the Palestinian “right of return” to Israel and the history of the 1948 war with Israel.
Some 2 million Palestinian refugees are registered with UNRWA’s Jordan offices. The UN agency operates 172 schools in 10 refugee camps across the kingdom, serving a total of over 122,000 students.

Last year, the association of UNRWA employees endorsed a decision to ban the introduction of Holocaust studies in UNRWA schools, Jordanian daily Al-Ghad reported Tuesday, a decision the teachers said was still binding.
“We shall monitor the curriculum being taught under the title ‘concepts of human rights’ [which is] aimed at reducing [Palestinian] students’ awareness of the right of return,” read the statement.
“Teaching UNRWA students about the so-called ‘Holocaust’ as part of human rights harms the Palestinian cause… and changes the students’ views regarding their main enemy, namely the Israeli occupation.”
Since 2009, Hamas in Gaza has actively opposed UNRWA’s attempts to introduce the Holocaust into school curriculum in Gaza, claiming that it contradicted Palestinian culture.
According to Al-Ghad, UNRWA denied any intention of introducing the Holocaust as part of its enrichment courses this year, claiming that it abides by the school curriculum of the refugees’ host countries.
A spokesman for UNRWA was unavailable for comment at time of publication.

I read this poem on Yahoo from a user called Maria. It is a beautiful poem so I though I could copy and paste it here:

If the Jews wish to teach lies to their children that’s fine. But, they have no right to feed the greatest lie of the 20th Century to the children of the world. Especially not children they have stolen from, their land, their future. The world is waking up to the so-called ” holocaust ” mythology, and has rightly labeled it as the holohoax.

Well, if they have to teach the holohoax as history, then they’d have to teach Peter Rabbit as history too. It would just snowball out of control. I mean there are so MANY fairy tales they’d have to start teaching as history – you can’t just choose ONE – the holohoax.

I took a Holocaust history class at WSU – it’s a joke.
No matter how much they (the Jews) want sympathy – the Palestinians didn’t do anything to the Jews during WWII – they (Palestinians) are the victims no matter how much the Jews spin history.

Ahh, how weary I am at reading this article, of UNRWA trying to dictate schools’ curriculums, no doubt after being bullied by Israel & threatened of funding cuts by USA. Perhaps they’d be interested in learning the complete story of the Palestinian Nakba in Israel?
As long as it’s illegal to raise any historical questions regarding the WWII events, all references to ’30′s & ’40′s holocaust should be ignored. I’d certainly like to know the historical truth but am not interested in Western propaganda, of what may have been the slickest con ever.
Holocaust deniers are everywhere the human eye can see,

Many years ago, as a school project, my then teenage son was given to write a research paper on the Jewish Holocaust with the material provided by the school itself. The aim was to give a personal view of what really happened. I helped him with his work, and guest what?
WE DID NOT FIND ANY JEWISH HOLOCAUST AT ALL IN THE MATERIAL PROVIDED!
But, we found a lot of lies, fabrications and unanswered questions instead!

The best solution is to find out which schools and flood them with proper material about the holohoax!
As for the UN, it is a ZIonist front and has been promoting the hoax ad nauseam. Members should object, but they don’t!
The fight between good and evil started since the creation or appearance of humans on this planet (a male and a female or males and females, but not only “males”!), and it will and MUST go on until the end of humanity.
I did not forget that I owe you an explanation regarding the BDS Movement. You are a real RUBY!

One must wonder as to why the history of the Nahkba is not mandatory teaching as well. This is certainly not the only genocide as they are numerous. Why is the only one that is mandatory the so called holocaust? Would make one wonder would it not?

I have shown extreme patience with one and all for 66 years! I am sorry, but I ran out of patience. I do not want to be patient anymore. I still cannot explain who I am, why I am here, who is in control of this planet and of its human inhabitants and worse than wild beasts inhabitants. What I do know is that my loved ones need me, my help, my service, my protection and advice, especially my little babies who are being taught so many lies at school each day and being in contact with all kinds of little demons as well.
This seems to be the real purpose of my life. The world existed without me and will continue to exist without me, but my loved ones are my responsibility and I must not fail them. I have done what I could to the best of my abilty and now they will be on their own and if there is GOD, they are in good hands.
I read the Economic Hitman, but people around me believe it is a lie. My friend Alain Soral wrote the Empire in French, but I have not yet read it. I believe I have read too many books in my life and it is high time for me to slow down as most people are not interested in the truth and I rather concentrate on the little ones who want to know. I never lie to them.
Having followed the US, UK, EU AND ISRAELI EMPIRE for quite some time, I was expecting the total destruction of the Arab and Muslim world as they remain the only force against the agenda of the Empire as laid down by Jimmy Carter I think in his Global 2000 (check this one) which had planned to reduce world population to half a billion. The wars that the US and Allies have started in the Middle East should bring about the extermination of hundreds of millions of people including inside the US, and they are running late.
The US has been building vast concentration camps, underground cities and military bases all in plain sight. The cattle is now ready for the slaughter and I do not see any move of the Americans to take back their government from the bank gansters, the military industrial complex and the secret societies. Instead they are again distracted by the coming bogus elections. It does not matter if it is SOULLESS Obama or SOULLESS Romney or SOULLESS Lady Gaga. America will always have the leaders she deserves and will always complain without doing the job.
