The Vatican on Monday dismissed anti-Semitic comments by the head of a rebel Catholic traditionalist group, saying the Roman church did not see Jews as enemies.
Bishop Bernard Fellay, head of the rebel Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX), said last month that Jews were among those “who over centuries have been enemies of the Church.”
Jewish support for the modernizing reforms of the 1962-1965 Second Vatican Council showed they were opposed to the Church, he said. The SSPX rejects the Council as a heretical event that betrayed age-old Catholic teaching and undermined the Church.
“It is impossible to speak of the Jews as enemies of the Church,” Vatican spokesman Rev Federico Lombardi said, stressing the Church position on this was “clear and well-known.”
“The Church is deeply committed to dialogue with Jews,” he added.
Fellay was among four SSPX bishops who were excommunicated from 1988 to 2009, when Pope Benedict reinstated them.
Talks between the SSPX and the Vatican to reintegrate them fully into Church structures ended in failure last year because the SSPX refused to accept Council reforms – including Rome’s reconciliation with the Jews – as valid Catholic teaching.
The Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles, a Jewish human rights group, denounced Fellay’s comments last week as a sign of “the deep-rooted anti-Semitism that lies at the heart of the SSPX’s theology.”
The Second Vatican Council “shifted the relationship between Catholics and Jews into a positive direction,” it said.

The SSPX is right to be very wary of reforms made by Vatican II.
The architect of the new form of the mass initiated by Second Vatican Council was later expelled from the Church for being a Freemason. As a committed Catholic I believe in the messages of the catholic prophet Maria Divine Mercy who states that the Church has been infiltrated with Masonic/NWO/satanic/illuminati (Judaic) influences since SVII who seek to bring about its destruction.

That’s where the Church went wrong. They stopped seeing the Jews as the enemy. The Jew has always been the enemy of the Church. Who crucified Christ? Who persecuted and martyred the apostles? Rothschild owns the Vatican anyway, so it’s not surprising that they don’t want to step on Jewish toes.

E. Michael Jones defined Vatican II as the moment when the church decided it no longer had any enemies. I guess that’s ok if your enemy makes the same decision, but … alas …..
I also think (along with Carl Schmitt) that the state (and the Vatican is a state) always selects an enemy. My question is, if it’s not the Jews, then who is it? I shudder to answer.

Catholics were taught Christians lived under the New Covenant. Hebrews 8 says: verse 6– ”But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.”
Catholics we did not have much to do with the Old Testament until after Vatican II.

I attended Catholic schools as a child. For some reason, we would go to the temple(s) and pay our respects, each year. I have no idea (to this day) why we did this.
It never made any sense, to me, at all.

Looks like the Jews are going to circumcise the Roman Catholic church into two separate entities. Divide and concur. Those Catholics whom go against the teaching of Jesus and commit ritual infant circumcision instead of education, and the rebel Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX), who don’t want the Church to slide backwards into practicing superstitious ritual prepuce excision sacrificings. It’s safer to be an Atheist, than to be fooled into becoming enslaved into someones theology.

The mass media, the Jews, hate the Catholic Church more than anything and they knew there was money to grab so even though the Protestant Churches and Jews-Rabbis- had more religious figures that were sexual offenders , it never made the big news. The lawyers went after the money and a lot of the stealing of massive sums of money by these “concerned” lawyers hurt the little people.
They cleaned out the Church with high schools closing, sports programs eliminated. One little example: one of the major high school basketball powerhouses in USA was St Patrick’s in New Jersey with mostly black players. The school was closed due to lack of funding and of course secular disdain for seeing the Catholic Church ever again gain influence in the neighborhoods of the USA.

What are other people’s thoughts on the Jesuits. No doubt the many jewish converts brought along their natural ‘zeal’ but I see little evidence to suggest it was a sinister plot to bring down Catholicism, particularly considering their successes. Also at the time, it was probably seen as a superior course of life for them, unlike today where Jewry is once again a world power.
Besides, the importance of the Church is it’s message. The devils will come and go as always but unless they start changing the Gospel of John, I won’t be too worried.

They are of the devil himself;The devil in human form. How else does one explain the seeming ease with which they get gentiles to turn away from the true word of God? And turn away from Christ himself? When they had Christ crucified. No wonder the number six has such a place in their cult. Six pointed star, six million in the holohoax. I’m always amazed that gentiles can’t figure it out. They provided a blueprint for their plans in the Protocols and still to this day few have bothered to read them.

The SSPX threw Bishop Williamson under the bus for his Holocaust interview. I guess that was going way too far. Bishop Fellay was speaking the truth. Any Jew will admit he’s an enemy of Christ but when a Catholic says it they get all huffy which I why I suppose The Huffington Post came into existence. But I digress. Probably B. Fellay will be forced to apologize and he probably will cave and his groveling will not satisfy the children of the devil who are never satisfied. The current shocked attitude of the regular RCC shouts loud and clear that it is a protection racket for the Jews. By the regular Church conniving and infiltrating SSPX they will break it apart somehow. This may be one of their methods. The Roman Catholic Church destroyed itself during the Ranaissance which I can’t spell at the moment but you catch my drift. At that time it became about oligarchic money and power. It’s been downhill from there when it essentially started the the New World Order which is power and money and global domination. All the RCC can do now is tell lies and cover for itself as it remains essentially a cult of priests who seek their own existence for the sake of their own existence and care nothing for the souls of mankind. It’s unfortunate for many of us who seek the true Church. But it’s gone so that’s the way it is. Christ still exists.
