Really good comments over there, replied thus to ashamed UK: “I`m from the UK too, ex-pat, and I`m glad the British citizens are not buying this. Seems the msm, and especially the BBC, have gone too far with their pro-war propaganda..”

Hold on there..; this has to do with Syria? Not threats against Iran, by US (of IZ)? I think it may be both.
I know the Russians had warned us, as well as IZ, to not go there (Iran) and I would bet they are pretty sick of what’s happening in Syria, so who knows?
Perhaps it’s a two-birds, one-stone (or one big-a** ship or fleet), sort of thing?

Regardless; good for Russia! It’s about time someone with real power stepped in, to quell the waters. Obama really ought to get US the heck out of Syria, as well as the rest of the Arab world. We (our CIA, likely) need to stop butting in, stop starting things. We need to stop all of these horrors throughout the world, particularly at the behest of the most awful little nation-state in the world. I don’t think Obama has it in him, but with Putin pushing a bit, I guess it could happen.
And it is well past time.
If for no other reason, how is all of what we’re doing there good for US?

the difference is, the Russians use their heads first, and keep their big guns as back-up, a much more sensible, and cheaper, way to wage war..
