Iranian president calls for action against those who ‘are occupying and killing oppressed people’
Times of Israel
Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called on the Muslim world to unite to eradicate Zionism, which he called “corrupt, uncultured and murderous” Sunday.
Ahmadinejad spoke in Tehran to the 26th International Islamic Unity Conference, which coincided with International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Muslim nations around the world should pursue “specific aims” toward unity, Iran’s semi-official PressTV quoted the president as saying. Monotheism and justice were among the target goals Iran’s president set for the Muslim countries.
“Under [the] circumstances [in which] the corrupt, uncultured and murderous Zionists are occupying and killing oppressed people, we should not sit idly by,” Ahmadinejad reportedly told the crowd.
The president also criticized the current economic world order, saying it served only the strong countries while further destroying weaker ones.
The existence of deep rifts and dissension among various sects within the Muslim world got short shrift from Iran’s leader, who stated that “an incomplete understanding of the Quran” was the reason for such differences.

We will succeed to the degree that we confront and expose pure evil. IMO, the most direct and effective course is to expose the Israeli connections to 9/11.
What is it about “Israel–not Islam–did 9/11″ do muslims not want to see and yell from the rooftops?

Anyone else notice one big flaw in the call, “by Ahmadinejad”?
Even according to the, “Times of Israel”, MA did not call for all JEWS to be eradicated. No, I don’t trust any Israeli source, but if MA said anything, I find it funny that they used the term, “Zionists”, rather than saying he was speaking of All Jews.
As we know they make up a lot of things that MA says (or didn’t say, as it turns out), how can we trust this? I guess we need to go to our friends who speak the language, and find out what Ahmadinejad said, or did not say, if he said anything at all.
But, if he said it, I agree with him. If he didn’t say it, I agree with the sentiment. Reasonable Jews should agree with this idea, too, as Zionism is the scourge of all Jews.

The Iranian president always speaks the truth, and I think there are many now listening to his words..

Dear Anne, MA never said in his speech that he wanted to annihilate all jews. His speech was
deliberately mis quoted by the PTB to cause hatred around the world. I had his speech
somewhere, but I got a new computer and I lost all my important works.
I agree with a lot of people on this site, MA is a good man in my opinion. I will look for
the speech in a minute or two on google. janet

“Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called on the Muslim world to unite to eradicate Zionism, which he called “corrupt, uncultured and murderous” Sunday.”
Presiding a UNESCO Club Conference at the Trinity College where I was Head of Biology, the conclusion was that ZIONISM = RACISM. With racism came all the other evils.
Years later, I read that UNESCO had passed a resolution that Zionism was racism. But, the USA immediately threatened to stop all financial support to the UNESCO and the latter was blackmailed into recanting or something like that.
So, Zionism is 6 million times worse than just “corrupt, uncultured and murderous”.

So what did Ahmadinejad actually say? To quote his exact words in farsi:
”Imam ghoft een rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods bayad az safheh-ye ruzgar mahv shavad.”
That passage will mean nothing to most people, but one word might ring a bell: rezhim-e. It is the word “Regime“, pronounced just like the English word with an extra “eh” sound at the end. Ahmadinejad did not refer to Israel the country or Israel the land mass, but the Israeli regime. This is a vastly significant distinction, as one cannot wipe a regime off the map. Ahmadinejad does not even refer to Israel by name, he instead uses the specific phrase ”rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods” (regime occupying Jerusalem).
So this raises the question.. what exactly did he want “wiped from the map”? The answer is: nothing. That’s because the word “map” was never …used. The Persian word for map, “nagsheh“, is not contained anywhere in his original farsi quote, or, for that matter, anywhere in his entire speech. Nor was the western phrase “wipe out” ever said. Yet we are led to believe that Iran’s President threatened to “wipe Israel off the map”, despite never having uttered the words “map”, “wipe out” or even “Israel”.

Thanks Bikpet, that is exactly what I was looking for. Every talk host keeps saying that MA
said he wanted all jews eradicated, or something to that effect.
I get so sick of these mis-quotations. When you correct these idiots, of course you are
termed Anti-Semitic. Who cares? I wear this badge proudly
