Doctors’ skills and ability to solve problems are just as varied as auto mechanics. Some are whizzes and keep trying hard and stay up on things and others are real duds. The majority of docs are sheep and fall for the drug ads and all the other nonsense such as everyone should be on Lipitor like drugs, and take aspirin when you get old.
The US public that gets all the media attention are usually the spoiled masses- they don”t want guns, they say that their area is nuclear free. These same people wear Nike shoes where sweatshop workers in foreign countries are aging fast and getting sick from working in polluted sweatshops. These spoiled masses lack the ability to look at themselves in relation to those who are struggling in the USA and elsewhere. People get comfortable and judgmental. I’ll keep my guns. The state of NY and the feds cannot have them.

Many commit suicide, using pharmaceuticals, or just the plain old automobile in the garage.
Who’s the fag who 1 starred this, without any explanation?

If one wishes to research where this sad story began, just search the Flexner brothers of New York. They along with John D Rockefeller devised a plan that would forever change good old prevention or Homeopathy with its opposite; Aileopathy or treating the symptoms and not the whole person. One born out of wholesomeness vs the $cam of prescribing a pill for nearly every ‘ailment’ one suffers. Abraham Flexner is the key name to search. It’s a fascinating story, albeit a tragic tale of the Snakeoil man and his bag of trick$.

An excerpt from Dr Nancy Turner Banks M.D. ‘AIDS, Opium & Empire’
‘Three Brothers
As the 20th century unfolded, three brothers, Abraham, Simon and Bernard Flexner played a sinister hand in shaping the outline of the next 100 years in the areas of medicine, politics and international intrigue. These brothers intensified the fire that was set to heat the cauldron from which arose the toxic brew known as HIV/AIDS. The idea for and the need to create such madness arose out of a historical, political, social, economic and spiritual milieu. It is the culmination of various historical trends merging into the present reality that were set in place by these three men. Simon, a pathologist, became director of the laboratories at Rockefeller Institute that were deeply involved in the racist and elitist eugenics movement; Abraham became education expert for the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and set in motion the downward spiral of the quality of U.S. education, including medical education; Bernard, an ardent Zionist, was part of the Zionist delegation to the 1919 Paris Peace Conference held at the Versailles Palace following WWI’….

Not sure if this is included in the above statistics but about 200,000 people die in hospitals every year from mistakes, malpractice.

Sure, Frank. The story of the Flexner brothers really cuts to the chase. You will simply be amazed at what a precursory search of their name will yield.

El Yafi- I agree and I feel that the numbers are often inflated but the power people use the numbers- high or low- to set in motion processes that turn into financial successes for those chosen to “help”, that is, there is now this new industry that sets up courses, etc, for health care workers- to stop medical error. But of course, medical error is not always the issue.
Big business has ruined medicine and the rest of the simplicity of dealings in the USA. I read that there are over 48, 000 codes now applied for medical actions-diagnoses, procedures, etc. Hey, it is lucrative. There is a billion dollar industry in medical coding and all the other crap. No wonder, the Iraqis, Syrians, etc, don’t want our way of treating fellow human beings.
In Iraq I knew a man who got his nephew treatment in Iraqi hospital. He paid more to put him in the better facility in Baghdad. The boy had dysentery-fever, bloody diarrhea, etc, and the boy received IV fluids and antibiotics, and meds for nausea, etc, and spent 4 days and 3 nights in hospital, and bill came to less than $300.

This is so sad and true. I’m a former “misguided” patient by some therapist, including a medical doctor, and outside negative influences. They are so quick to write you a prescription of Lexapro and make an appointment in three to four months for a renewal. Long story short, the majority of the people on these medications don’t need to be on them, but accept a doctor’s word for it, simply because “it’s good for your mental state of mind”, not to mention the pockets at the receiving end. There are so many therapeutic ways to seek help, most of it is just temporary anxieties that can be cured naturally. You have to find what works for you, its not easy, believe me, but the after affects of these drugs are far worse than you can imagine. My first alarm was the feeling of being suicidal and yet I’m taking these pills to suppress feelings, then I started taking more than the required milligrams, I will skip the rest of this story, because it still pains me. Its only been a little over two years since my recuperation began. My salvation was finding Jesus Christ and surrounded myself with people from all walks of life with positive healing energy. Group therapy works, whether it be in the House of God, or wherever your comfort path leads you. I try to reach out to as many people as I possible can to educate them on these dangerous drugs, but I understand that there are “some” people in need, but they too need to be monitored as well. You can’t just give out prescriptions to people and not monitored their behaviors. As you can see for yourselves, its total madness.
