A senior member of Israel’s new government says anyone who thinks peace can be reached with the Palestinians is “delusional.”
Avigdor Lieberman delivered his assessment Monday shortly before the country’s new government was to be sworn into office. Lieberman, a former foreign minister, leads Yisrael Beitenu, a hardline political party that has formed a joint bloc with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud Party.
Lieberman is barred from sitting in the Cabinet while he fights breach of trust and fraud charges. But he retains great influence over the new government.
Speaking to his party Monday, Lieberman said the conflict with the Palestinians “cannot be solved. This conflict needs to be managed.”
He also said he would reject any attempt to freeze settlement construction — a key demand of the Palestinians.

Can someone tell me why every so often the USA has to assure Israel that we have “their back”. That the bond between the US and Israel is un-brakeable! We give them everything, money military equipment etc. Yet we have to keep assuring them. Israel should be kissing Americas ass, instead of the other way around! I would like to know what these politians are really getting out of all this ass kissing.

You have to appreciate Lieberman. He speaks honestly and bluntly about the desires of Jewish power. In his arrogance he lays his program out there for all to see. No one can listen to this man and continue to cling any illusions about the nature of zionism and jewish power.
You can almost see other Jews cringe when they realize this man’s words are being heard by Western audiences. This is why American TV screens are filled with images of Bibi Netanyahu and his snake oil salesman schtick; All Americans are very familiar with Shimon Peres (and his Nobel Peace prize), but you rarely see or hear Lieberman here. You certainly do not see his message being widely reported in the Jewish controlled US media. I can already here Abe Foxman charging anti-semitism against some idependent news channel for broadcasting Lieberman’s speeches….LOL. Lieberman represents the real face of zionism and it is a face that Jewish power diligently shields American audiences from.
