Mark, I must disagree with you on the issue of Cuba. First, the Cuban people will not put any pressure on the government. No prisoner will be released. Second, the pope does not represent the Latin American people’s political point of view. Church and politics are two separate issues. When they need to arm themselves it will be done with the blessings of Jesus.

Glad about MCP, send my regards.
    Quran:
We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person – unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land – it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our messengers with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land. Those who wage war against Allah and His prophet, kill the believers and plunder their property shall be disgraced in this world, and for them is a dreadful doom in the hereafter. (5:32-33)

MCP appears to have been kicking goals for decades. And Fetzer has been an effusive fan of both MCP and the other Marks; whose communication and context-making, with all sorts of analogies (taken from the full spectrum of human life) amounts to an art form. But this is an honest disagreement we are talking about here. I don’t represent the epistemologist of course. But I think I speak for every relevant person here that we wish devoutly for the return of Michael Pipers excellent health, so that he can start kicking goals again … or so he can rest on his laurels and just have a relaxing and good time for many years to come. If Piper starts kicking goals again, or should he become like a Tom Bombadil figure …. Well I think we just want him to be very well and happy. And not let this demonic crowd divide and conquer and wear out the good people.

Thanks Mark G! You sound refreshed and relieved. Glad to hear MCP is in good hands an on the road to recovery. Speaking of which; we must all work together in recovering our very world and collective will in this fight. Our enemy looks for and exploits any perceived weakness, flaw in character and other imperfections to the fullest. Sandy Hook has given them a literal banquet on which to feed. Let’s all do what we can to spoil it. Keep the clowns, and weak links out of full view. Don’t allow them to keep feeding the ticks, mosquitoes and flies!

I know what you mean MG, about the way “they” speak, you can hear it clearly when “they” say Hamas, as though “they” are about to throw up, and the kid, several years ago, who was being interviewed, after “reports” that a Palestinian had broken into a parasitic dwelling, as if any Palestinian would want to do such a thing, but, anyway, this kid with the ringlets, (what the hell are they all about?), was pointing to a window, and saying, in hushed tones, “the tewowist got in that way”.. it would be laughable if it weren`t all so sad, twisted, and cruel..

BDS, absolutely, we never buy anything from Israel, the problem arises when the rabid “settlers” label things as products of Palestine..

Glad to hear that Mike Piper is recovering, and that Sammi will be back soon, but what about Ron Hall, is he OK?

Yes, spreading the word is important, if it is done in such a way as not to alienate good people..

@MJ, thanks for the report from Egypt.. I`m not sure, but I think the Egyptians have, this day, tightened the noose around their own necks, by voting for a jew inspired military regime.. and yet, young Egyptians have declared their intention, to fight with Assad..

Dear Michael, I’m so happy, that you are getting better! Heartfelt greatings from Germany.- But PLEASE take better care for your health in the future. Noor and Linsey are right: please take a break , maybe you have to rethink and change some things in your life.
Some days back I was listening to Deanna Spingola and MD Lorraine Day, who has cured herself by changing her life comptely and wrote a book about it.
She said, as long as she was dealing with health problems, she needed all her energy for the healing process, after recovery she could go on with her political work.
So all the best to you and take care!

Ingrid hopefully the US /Israeli groups are gotten rid of in Syria and I hope better alliances are formed.
By the way,did you see the new Empire with Marwan Bishara? It is one of few programs I can stomach. Iran can still build bridges and use soft power effectively in the larger Arab/Muslim world.

I think John Kerry is a nominal catholic with a jewish identity.
His grandparents were prosperous jews who converted to cathoicism and changed their name from
a jewish sounding mid-European jewish name two years before their planned migration to the USA
in the early part of the 20th century. At that time the US had a quotas for the amount of jews and others for immigration, designed to keep the proportionate racial composition of the US unchanged by immigration. I think the grandparents changed their name and professed religion in order to bypass the jewish quota because the number of jews from eastern Europe applying for US immigration was immense. That John has kept the assumed name and putative religion may more likely be for purposes of crypsis than any other. He is one who claimed ignorance of his judaic
self yet I read his favorite cousin growing up in upscale Brookline MA was a rich jew of simjilar age living in the south of France. Surely having a jewish first cousin on his father’s side might suggest
jewry in his father’s family. His mother’s family were of judaic background as well I believe; the
rich Frobes family whose money trust fortune was born of the transAtlantic Black African slave trade
and if like other such fortunes probably transitioned to the opium trade when slavery importing became illegal.I read that somewhere; and also that the Forbes were of judaic descent as were
many or most of the shippers of Black Africans to slavery in the US and elsewhere. ALso, Forbes
is supposedly a Scottish surname but for some reason many such surnames in America are
likely to be jewisah, for instance Gordon, Evans, Ross, Stewart and more. The answer to
this oddity may lie in the book, published approx. 2004 “WHEN SCOTLAND WAS JEWISH”.

MJ, soft power, yes, and the guy who said “where the US/Israel are dropping bombs, Iran is building bridges” got it in one..
