Report: Israel sends 2 warships to Egyptian border

Military sources tell AP Defense Ministry dispatched to warships to Red Sea border with Egypt following intelligence indicating viable terror threat

The Israeli military said Monday that it has sent two additional warships to the Red Sea border with Egypt following warnings that militants are planning another attack on southern Israel from Egyptian soil.

Monday saw IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen Benny Gantz order the deployment across the entire southern sector, and especially in the area near the Israel-Egypt border, increased, following intelligence indicated a viable terror threat in the area.

The southern sector, and especially the area adjacent to the border, has been virtually flooded with military forces, deployed in a manner defined by one security source as “unprecedented.” No changes in security alignments were observed on the Egyptian side of the border.

The IDF has also deployed advanced technology in the area in order to thwart terror attacks. Military intelligence suggests that a terror cell has left the Gaza Strip and intends to infiltrate Israel through Sinai.

The security situation in southern Israel has been particularly tense over the past few weeks, following a series of terror attacks that claimed the lives of eight Israelis in mid August; as well as several days in which Israel’s south and western Negev communities suffered heavy shelling by Gaza Strip-based terror groups.

Following the terror attack, in which five Egyptian troops were also killed, Israel and Egypt agreed to increase the presence of Cairo troops in the Sinai Peninsula. As a result, some 1,500 Egyptian soldiers deployed across Sinai on Monday.

Everyone knows those so called Sinai/Israeli attacks were all Israeli ‘False Flags’ to bomb Gaza and to feel the Egyptian climate. Now Israel is on notice…
However, I’m sure nothing is going to happen, but Israel is spending more of ‘our’ (US)hard earned money to show their neighbors they are ready, willing and able to fight.
I want to see Israel spending more and more money of non existent threats….I want to see Israel spend it’s whole economy on defending the shadows of those who want their homes back…

Do they really expect people to believe that a handful of Palestinians would attack, knowing that the place was crawling with armed to the teeth, IOF thugs..
Maybe they are trying to fool the Israelis..
Why is the UN not protecting Gaza?

If I was an American sailor I would hoist up hundreds of huge US flags because Israeli pilots and seamen have trouble telling when a ship is American. It happened in 1967. There is a good chance that those missiles on Israeli ships have “made in USA” printed on them.

@ galwayspaniard : “made in the USA, aimed at the USA.”

Great irony after I first saw the humor and smiled but then I said to myself- just suppose that a few if not all of the missiles that hit the USS Liberty in 1967 were made in USA.
