Putin aide–Russia will not change stance on Syria

Russian President Vladimir Putin

The spokesman of Russian President Vladimir Putin says Moscow will not change its stance toward Syria under “someone’s pressure.”

Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday that Russia’s position regarding the Syrian issue is “well-known… balanced and consistent and completely logical,” according to the Russian Interfax news agency.“So it is hardly appropriate to talk about this position changing under someone’s pressure.”Peskov made the remarks two days after a number of Western countries announced on May 29 that they were expelling senior Syrian diplomats in an apparently coordinated move to protest the May 25 violence in the western Syrian town of Houla.

However, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday that the move was “counter-productive.”

Head of the UN observer mission in Syria Major General Robert Mood said in a briefing via videoconference from Damascus to an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on May 27 that the UN observers in Houla estimated 108 people were killed, including 49 children and 34 women.

Peskov also stated that Moscow’s refusal to support measures against the Syrian government following the Houla massacre and other attacks on civilians was based on an approach “completely free of emotions, which are hardly appropriate here.”

Eighty-three innocent women and children murdered, from a total of 108 people……..who commits such atrocities?

That response by Mr Peskov is either limp or strategic. They know that the Jews did the Houla massacre, and when they realised the story was falling apart – hastened by revisions, two days later executed with a bullet to the head 38 men to distract from the earlier atrocity. The last revision was that there was a pro President Assad militia group – unheard of before, which had done both sets of murders.

It’s almost as if the Russians want the golem Americans to blunder into Syria, which would draw in Iranian covert aid overland across northern Iraq, and it is unlikely that the Iraqi govt will want to do much to stop it – they’ve had it with Americans. Iranian fighter jets will provide air cover against US fighter jets trying to blow up the ground transported supplies.

And Russia will supplement this aid to Syria via Iran, and American soldiers will die in large numbers because their aircover, which afforded them total dominance on the ground against Iraqi ground forces, will come under strong challenge.

Once America gets stuck inextricably onto this tar baby, it will destroy any chance of Obama’s re election, and if he does this after November, he will bring on the end of The First Republic, as it will coincide with the collapse of the Euro, the EU, triggering the collapse of the USD and Wall St, as by then, no one will have any faith in any financial instrument.

Ron Paul will be conscripted into office on a ceasefire platform, and also because, as every one knows, Mitt Romney is a war monger, which will be perceived as a relic from a painful era just ending.

Pres. Obama would have seen it in this light too, but can’t say it. Mr Netanyahu understands this too, and therefore understands why Obama is so resistant even in very private intense face to face encounters between a Master and his Schwartzer, in which he is relentlessly pressed to follow up on an Israeli initiated assault on Iran.

Some people dismiss Obama as a tele prompter reader, but he is more than that, otherwise he would have been unable to accurately forsee the disaster that would engulf America if she were to initiate a war against Iran, or following up on a Israeli initial assault, and the end of the First Republic would already have happened.

Israeli hasn’t initiated an assault on Iran for they know that there is no certainty that Obama would follow up, words of undying support notwithstanding. One never knows, but he may even know that the trans Atlantic slave trade was done by Jews, giving him an extra reason to not follow up on a initiating Israeli assault on Iran.

Looking at Mr Putin, he knows that ww3 doesn’t have to follow, in the event that Iran responds to a American invasion of Syria, provided he is in charge, and not Mr Medvedev.
