Report: Iran begins stockpiling 3-month food supply

An Iranian news agency is reporting the country has begun to stockpile a three-month supply of foodstuffs for its population.

The Friday report by semi-official Mehr quotes deputy industry minister Hasan Radmard as saying the country has been buying wheat, cooking oil, sugar and rice for the food reserve.

Radmard said the decision came based on a decree by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in recent weeks. Part of the purchased foodstuffs has already been imported, he added.

Iran’s trade with other countries has been hindered since the United States and the European Union imposed a banking and insurance embargo on Tehran over its disputed nuclear program.

Good idea Iran and may God bless you. The US government has clearly shown that it is no more than an Israeli puppet who will sanction innocent people. The American people need to wake up to the truth about parasitical Israel before it’s too late – if it isn’t already. And Romney isn’t going to bring about any changes beneficial to “anyone.”

Ahmadinejad is concerned about the safety & sustenance of the Iranians. If the US were in this same situation, they would let the American people starve and send food to Israel so the Jews had something to eat.

#5Patty: It is sad to see how little concern ‘our’ government has for us. I have begun trying to stockpile non-perishables, tea, coffee, sugar, pasta, canned tomatoes, toilet paper.

Patty: We are starving as it is. And we are sending money to Israel while many of us are starving, are homeless, in bad health, no money, no jobs and no support from are politicians as they enjoy the comforts of life, take vacations and trips.

Food, water, and shelter, are basic needs in life. Withholding them from any country or from it’s own people, is a war crime. I put the blame exclusively on the war loving Christian/Evangelical/Zionists. In a way, we are reaping from what we have sown. Cursed by the mean spirited and evil followers of war. Blessed be the peace makers.

    But where are they?
