Uh, isn’t that an int’l violaton of their treaty? I thought only ships of that size, native to the Baltic, were allowed to pass through. If they’re going to waive the treaty whenever the USA feels like it, what’s the point?

Schauen Sie!

The McCain/Fox News crowd want President Obama to do something about Russian “aggression”.

American exceptionalism & associated hypocrisy of recent Western military “incursions” aside, Russia is ensuring continuing unimpeded trade access to Europe and the World through Ukraine and Crimea. US is broke. EU is broke. Turkey is on the verge of civil war itself and controls access between the Aegean and Black Seas. Turkey becomes a player pressured by the neo-cons to do something against its best interests. Imagine Greece or Bulgaria wouldn’t mind having the chunk of Turkey on the north side of the straights (Deal or No Deal). Greece could get total control of Cyprus, sweet! The Kurds and Armenians have their axe to grind.

Let’s not forget what is on the other side of Russia: China.
China claims disputed real estate & natural resources in the South & East China Seas. China will make their move against Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan and Japan when the time is right.

Do a simple Cost/Benefit Analysis with every NATO member considering when the crisis escalates and Russia shuts off the flow of energy. Is it worth it for France, Germany, Spain, Italy? Certainly not. Poland , Bulgaria, Romania, or Lithuania? Now add a resource poor and recently militarized People’s Republic of China into the game.

Guess what? The Jews bring home the GOLD and the rest of us loose.
