Lest We Forget–U.S. Jews among biggest backers of same-sex marriage, data show
ed note–we post this here merely to underscore the inherently deceptive nature of the recent choreographed theatrics on display by the usual suspects surrounding statements made by our good friend Mark Dankof viz a viz organized Jewish interests and the disproportionately high role they played not only in the Supreme Court’s latest decision concerning marriage, but as well the toxic influence they have had on American society viz a viz abortion on demand, pornography and a whole smorgasboard of similar vices for which they seem to have a magnetic pull.
The entire drama that has taken place should be a lesson for those studying the issue of Jewish thinking and Jewish activism. All the data, facts, numbers are clear–Jews are as much involved in steering Christian American culture into the sewer as Italian restaurants are involed in serving spaghetti sauce. They boast of it, they crow, the bray, they’re proud of the destruction they create, yet when Gentiles repeat–word for word–what the Jews themselves say, replacing the subject of the sentence from the 1st person plural ‘we’ to the 3rd person plural they’, all hell breaks loose.
Coincidentally (or not) this was the same tactic discussed by Soviet dissident Alexander Soljenytsen in his seminal work Gulag Archipelago. He described situation where those who fell within the clutches of the Soviet security apparatus and interrogated would be asked questions such as what month it was, what day it was, what their name was, etc, and even though they would give the correct answer, the interrogator would react with fury, spitting in their face, slapping them, etc.
It is no coincidence then that organized Jewish interests do the same thing with regards to statements made about their documented role in events such as what just took place, given the fact that the Soviet Union and its terror apparati were indeed thoroughly Jewish from top to bottom, north to south, east to west.
American Jews are among the most supportive religious groups of same-sex marriage.
Some 77 percent of American Jews expressed support for same-sex marriage, according to data gathered in 2014 by the Public Religion Research Institute. Some 47 percent of American Jews polled said they “strongly favor” allowing gay and lesbian couples to marry legally, and 30 percent said they “favor” it.
Thirteen Jewish groups, among them organizations representing the Reform, Reconstructionist and Conservative streams, were among the 25 groups that joined the amicus brief filed by the Anti-Defamation League in Obergefell v. Hodges, the case decided by the U.S. Supreme Court on Friday that legalized same-sex marriage in all 50 states.
The only religious group to be more supportive of same-sex marriage are Buddhists at 84 percent, with 48 strongly favoring and 36 in favor. Seventy-seven percent of religiously unaffiliated also support same-sex marriage, with 45 strongly in favor and 32 in favor.
The data were collected as part of the Public Religion Research Institute’s American Values Atlas for 2014, which comprises 40,000 interviews among a random sample of Americans in all 50 states. The institute, a nonprofit group, is “dedicated to research at the intersection of religion, values, and public life,” according to its website.
