ed note–Over the years encompassing their political careers, the Clintons have been known to do over-the-top things and to be as greasy as imaginable in the various theatrics they have employed. However, no one should make the mistake of thinking that this is just for show–If Hillary is elected, the US will indeed experience war as we have never experienced it and instability the likes of which even John on the island of Patmos did not envision when he was writing his book. It is for this reason that rational, thinking people need to dial down their understandable skepticism and paranoia when it comes to Trump and recognize that this is deadly serious business we all find ourselves in right now.

As the Democratic National Convention continued Wednesday night with a series of endorsement speeches for candidate Hillary Clinton, her husband Bill, no stranger to the spotlight, also drew some attention for the Hebrew “Hillary” pin he wore on his jacket.

Sharp-eyed viewers were quick to spot the blue pin on his jacket lapel with his wife’s name in Hebrew, which had reportedly been given to him by a member of the National Jewish Democratic Council.

Who exactly it was who presented the former president with the pin he wore wasn’t clear, however, as he had been given two identical badges by different people.

Steve Rabinowitz, a former Clinton aide who now works for the Bluelight Strategies media relations firm which represents the NJDC, told Tablet Magazine how he had given a pin to Clinton earlier in the day.

“I was at a Clinton/Gore campaign alumni event this afternoon at the Jewish Historical Museum in Philadelphia and gave my old boss the pin,” Rabinowitz recalled. “He said he’d wear it but I didn’t know whether or not to believe him and certainly didn’t think he’d do it tonight.”

“Meanwhile, separately and without either of us knowing it, Marc Stanley [the chairman of the National Jewish Democratic Council] did the same thing tonight when he saw Clinton in the convention hall and Clinton told him he was planning to wear it.”

“Don’t know who gets the credit but we’re both happy,” Rabinowitz said. “It’s NJDC’s pin.”

Tablet Magazine speculated that Clinton possibly wore the pin “as a subtle rebuke” to protesters who set fire to an Israeli flag and chanted “Long live the intifada” outside the DNC in Philadelphia on Tuesday night.
