J Street wants review of tax exemption for US pro-settlement organizations

Group says NGOs ‘channeled millions’ to support settlers, despite long-standing bipartisan American policy of condemning settlements

ed note–Do not fall for this schtick. J-Street is just as pro-Israel/pro-Zionist as its right-wing counterpart, despite whatever noises to the contrary it may make. Zionism has many faces but all are attached to the same head.

This is nothing more than a turf war between 2 competing groups over who will control the narrative. The ‘lefties’ don’t want a repeat of 70 AD when the ‘powers that be’ at that time–Imperial Rome–decided it had suffered enough of Judea’s antics, while those on the right today feel that they can succeed where their Zealot ancestors failed due to their control of modern day Rome’s monetary, financial, and political systems, to say nothing of the arsenal of nuclear weapons that Judea has acquired with which she now blackmails the entire world.

The liberal J Street organization is calling on the US Treasury to review the tax-deductibility status of donations by American groups that promote Israeli settlement in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

In a statement sent to the media Friday, J Street said that “a sophisticated private network has sprung up in the United States, funded by tax-deductible donations, that has channeled millions of dollars to strengthen the settlements and weaken the Palestinians’ presence in the West Bank.”

According to the statement, the money is used to fund organizations such as the right-wing NGO Regavim, founded by Jewish Home MK Bezalel Smotrich, which J Street said “presses for the demolition of Palestinian houses – and in some cases entire communities.”

The statement also cited El’ad (also known as the Ir David Foundation), which works to move Jews into predominantly Arab areas of East Jerusalem, and the Brooklyn-based The Hebron Fund, a group that J Street says promotes Jewish settlement in Hebron “at the expense of the local Palestinian population.”

J Street also highlights US policy, which it says “consistently opposed the construction and expansion of settlements under each and every president — Democratic and Republican — since Israel started building on territories captured in the 1967 [Six Day] war.” Yet, it says, US “statements of disapproval have done little to stem or even significantly slow the inexorable expansion of the Israeli presence in the occupied territory.”

As such, the organization “is urging Americans to contact the US Treasury to urge a thorough review of organizations working to entrench and expand West Bank settlements to determine if such tax deductibility is permissible under current requirements.”

In March 2015, the Avaaz rights group unsuccessfully petitioned the IRS to revoke The Hebron Fund’s tax exempt status.

“Settlers in Hebron have benefited greatly from support from The Hebron Fund,” the petition said. “According to Israeli human rights observers, these settlers have ‘destroyed shops and doors, committed thefts, and chopped down fruit trees.’ They have ‘been involved in gunfire, attempts to run people over, poisoning of a water well, breaking into homes, spilling of hot liquid on the face of a Palestinian, and the killing of a young Palestinian girl.”

David Ignatius of the Washington Post reported in 2009 that a search of IRS records showed “28 US charitable groups that made a total of $33.4 million in tax-exempt contributions to settlements and related organizations between 2004 and 2007.”

J-street is a zionist entity, and that is an indisputable fact.

I recommend reading some of the excellent articles on this topic, by a Palestinian author, Nahida Exiled Palestinian.

Sometimes when simple things are blurred by very dishonest people who want us to believe it is very complicated, it is necessary to come back to fundamental facts, as a help to define incontrovertible solutions.

Such extraordinary proposal to definitely and reasonably solve the almost one hundred years ongoing atrocities committed by Jews in Palestine, actually exists! It was offered by the same Palestinian scholar, in this article:

The first fundamental fact is that a specific organized group, criminals calling themselves “jews” have invaded an entire country, Palestine, mass-slaughtered tens of thousands of the indigenous population of that country, evicted a million more of them, then eradicated from the surface of the earth hundreds and ancestral, biblical villages and cities in that country, basically committing Genocide.

The second fundamental fact is that the Crimes above occurred AFTER International Law strictly prohibited certain acts such as: Genocide, Ethnic Cleansing, Culturecide, Conquest of land by war, Torture of Children, Collective Punishment, etc, all of which under the umbrella of Crimes Against Humanity, including the worst crimes of all, Fomenting Wars of Aggression, which is exactly what organized international Jewry is doing.

The third fundamental fact, is that all the Crimes above are still committed at present. More then seven decades later, international Jewry still invites their coreligionists to come participate in the torah-like mass slaughter and destruction of whatever ancestral and biblical History may be left, while calling their conquest “israel”.

Not only do these crimes continue to this day, in a sort of slow genocide, but the savagery, the cruelty, that depravity, the severity of the crimes, has increased exponentially, so much that Jews worldwide, almost collectively with very few exceptions, including in their “Jewish state” have contracted a terminal mental illness, pathological murderous psychopathy and sociopathy, that disabled them from the most elementary quality needed for human cohabitation: the ability to distinguish wrong from right. Jews do not seem to be aware, that ultimately this attitude is what caused their repeated rejection, in any part of the world, by any culture, at various times in history. It was not “antisemitism”, which is nothing but a projection of the jewish fear and hatred of the non-jew.

j-street, in its blind support for “israel”, irrespective of its lamentable obfiscation attempts, is part and parcel of the justification -a posteriori, of these crimes.
