‘No more violence in God’s name’ Pope says on visit to mosque

ed note–that he chose a mosque to utter such a statement rather than a synagogue, where Judaism–the ‘Godfather’ as far as religiously-inspired violence goes, tells volumes about the credibility of this statement and the credibility of this man.

How is it that he–schooled as he is on the bible, has missed those passages from the Judaic Old Testament openly calling for/advocating/commanding that innocent men, women, and children be slaughtered without mercy in the name of Yahweh, the ‘god’ of the Jews? How is it that he–head of the largest Christian denomination in the world–with all his schooling and instruction, missed those passages from the very same Old Testament which his religion claims for itself containing unmistakable calls for violence that have been used throughout history as a justification for murdering en masse innocent people, to wit–

‘When the LORD your God brings you into the land you are to possess and casts out the many peoples living there, you shall then slaughter them all and utterly destroy them…You shall save nothing alive that breathes…You shall make no agreements with them nor show them any mercy. You shall destroy their altars, break down their images, cut down their groves and burn their graven images with fire. For you are a holy people unto the LORD thy God and He has chosen you to be a special people above all others upon the face of the earth…’–Book of Deuteronomy

‘Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. You can will them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly…’–Leviticus 25:44-46

“Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you…Your gates will always stand open, day and night, so that the Gentiles may bring you the wealth of their nations and their kings led in triumphal procession, for the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish; it will be utterly destroyed.”–Isaiah 60:10-12

And yet, he makes such statements from within the walls of a Mosque, despite the fact that Islam forbids violence against innocent people and only allows violence to be used in self-defense against an aggressor?

Beam me up, Scotty.

Pope Francis visited a mosque in overwhelmingly Muslim Azerbaijan on Sunday and told leaders of all faiths that God should never be used to justify fundamentalism.

“From this highly symbolic place, a heartfelt cry rises up once again: no more violence in the name of God! May his most holy name be adored, not profaned or bartered as a commodity through forms of hatred and human opposition,” he said.

“God cannot be used for personal interests and selfish ends; he cannot be used to justify any form of fundamentalism, imperialism or colonialism,” the pope said in an address to Muslims, Christians, Jews and members of other faiths at the mosque, named after Azerbaijan’s late president Heydar Aliyev.

Francis has made similar appeals before and also has visited mosques on his world travels.

But his visit to Azerbaijan, whose population of about 9 million people are mostly Shi’ite Muslims, was the first time he had made such an appeal from inside the main prayer hall of a mosque in the presence of representatives of other religions.

Pope Francis is a pro-Israel Jesuit. He was put on St. Peter’s throne by the Organized Jewry.

Last year, in a meeting with the leaders of the World Jewish Congress at the Vatican, Francis told them that state of Israel has every right to exist, and Jews are free to do whatever they want to do – and criticism of both is antisemitism.

According to WJC’s statement released on October 28, Francis told WJC president Ronald Lauder and the Jewish Elders in a private meeting. “To attack Jews is antisemitism, but an outright attack on the state of Israel is also antisemitism. There may be political differences between governments and on political issues, but the state of Israel has every right to exist in safety and prosperity,” said Francis.

Lauder in response said: “Pope Francis does not simply make declarations. He inspires people with his warmth and his compassion. His clear and unequivocal support for the Jewish people is critical to us.”

Hypocrite and moral coward that he didnt say it in the middle of a synagogue in Israeli occupied Palestine. It is obvious he is being “guided ” or should I say influenced by the USA .

This pope is a Zionist pope placed there in the Vatican by the Judaic Criminal Mafia. Jorge Mario Bergoglio aka Papa Francisco (Spanish) Pope Francis was awarded the highest honor by the Israeli Settler Jewish supremacist Bar-Illan University and praised by the American Jewish Committee as a “man who has won the hearts and minds of many skeptical Jewish religious leaders”. Also by the American Jewish Congress. Indeed, this pope has declared that Holocaust Revisionism is “madness”, That not recognizing “Israel as a Jewish state” is “Anti-Semitic”, Inside every Christian is a Jew, that Catholics need to stop trying to convert Jews, and perhaps worst of all, that “A Christian can never be anti-Semite, “Specially because the Jewish roots of Christianity”. I can just hold my breath just listening all this ignorance coming from the head of “Christian” Church.
