Dr. Al Assad: Israel No Different Than ISIS, Al-Qaida

“For me, it’s a very strange thing,” she began. “Daesh, ISIS, with their ideology, never threaten Israel, and Israel never threaten[s] Daesh, ISIS. It’s like some kind of agreement about – maybe not friendship – but neutrality. Why, [do] you think, it’s like this? And what’s the role of Israel in this war?”

HAARETZ – Israel is actively working to “undermine” Syria by supporting “terrorism,” Syria’s embattled president Bashar Assad said in an interview with Russian tabloid Komsomolskaya Pravda on Friday.

“There’s no contradiction between Israel and any organization like al-Nusra (recently renamed as Jabhat Fateh al-Sham) or ISIS or any Al-Qaida-linked organization,” said Assad.

The Syrian leader was responding to a question from the Russian reporter, who took a largely friendly tone with Assad throughout the interview.

Assad didn’t mince words in his response:

“Anyone, any terrorist who holds a machinegun and started killing and destroying in Syria was supported by Israel, either indirectly through the logistical support on the frontier, or sometimes by direct intervention by Israel against Syria in different areas in Syria.”

ISIS ISRAEL

As Assad put it, Israel has adopted this so-called policy “because Israel is our enemy, because they occupy our lands, and they look at Syria as [an] enemy of course, and for them they think if they undermine the position of Syria and make it weaker as a whole, as [a] society, as [an] army, as [a] state, that will prevent Israel from moving toward the peace, and the price for peace is to give back the Golan Heights to Syria. So, for them, Syria will be busy with another issue now.”

Assad also said in the interview that Turkey’s incursion into northern Syria was an “invasion,” and accused the country of supporting ISIS even while claiming to fight the group in Syria.

“It’s ridiculous,” the reporter agreed. “What they tell, it’s ridiculous, when they tell ‘we are fighting with ISIS.’ They made ISIS.”

Assad’s public and media appearances have been few and far in between since the beginning of Syria’s civil war, but Russia has been among his staunchest allies, even launching airstrikes against Syrian rebels when the tide seemed to be turning against the Syrian regime.

And how ‘israel’ was founded. 2 sides of same coin. Its tactics are much like the zionist ‘state’ carved out of Palestine in 1948 – Jewish guerrillas who used violence, terrorism, foreign fighters, clandestine arms shipments and foreign money, along with horrific ethnic cleansing and the many massacres of thousands of Arab civilians, to create Israel
