ED Noor: Of course there are no surprises here. Bibi’s time of terror is drawing to an end. Who or what will eventually replace him, none of the obvious candidates being much lower on the human scale than Benjamin himself? Or will they surprise us with a “nice guy” who has a gentle demeanor to fool the rabble ~ both Jewish and gentile alike? There is still much drama to be played out before any changes come about.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is suspected of bribery, fraud and breach of trust in two cases, Israel Police confirmed on Thursday when it requested a gag order on the ongoing talks to recruit a state witness. The gag order was granted and is effective until September 17.
A response on behalf of the prime minister stated on Thursday:
“We completely reject the unfounded claims made against the prime minister. The campaign to change the government is underway, but it is destined to fail, for a simple reason: there won’t be anything because there was nothing.”
Philip Weiss: The Role of Jewish Democrats in Bill That Could Imprison Israel Boycotters for 20 Years
In a recent post on the Mondoweiss website, Journalist Philip Weiss examines the Israel Anti-Boycott Act that would punish those boycotting Israel with a minimum civil penalty of $250,000 and a maximum criminal penalty of $1 million and 20 years in prison. The legislation is being sponsored by both conservatives and liberals.
Weiss says that the Israel lobby is responsible for the legislation and indicates that it is Jewish Zionists, not Christian Zionists, who are the main wielders of power on the issue.
He writes: “Ultimately, this is a story about the fight inside Jewish life over Zionism and support for Israel. I believe we will win this fight, and that this legislation will help us. The legislation will shock many civil-liberties-loving Jews. The Intercept story will force legislators to redraft the legislation.”
Some 55 percent of Jewish Israelis would like a review of the longstanding policy that sees Judaism and the state fused to a great extent, a new poll shows. The same percentage of respondents believes the current policy reflects an ultra-Orthodox view.
In this collection the Palestine Photo Project presents more than 200 photos from pre-1948 Palestine. These are organized into eight collections ready to be explored. Some of the images I recognize from lengthy excursions through the excellent site Palestine Remembered, but this is a worthy collection and an excellent quick visual reference for the “We made the desert bloom” crowd.
In the following video you have the oh! so British sounding Baron Lord Jacob Rothschild addressing the creation of Israel, due to the 100 year anniversary of the Balfour Declaration which the Jewish Theresa May Government is making into an annual British event (UN)worthy of celebration. Here the despicable old creature boasts of how that document is the greatest writing in thousands of years of Jewish history.
“Meanwhile, the Bedouin village of al-Araqib was demolished for the 109th time on Wednesday.”
Jonathan Azaziah: Turkey Coup Ain’t Right: Erdogan Is Big Demon, but the Turkish Army Is Even Bigger
Not rockin’ with the coup in Turkey even a lil’ bit. Yes, no doubt that Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a certified egomaniacal monster who has had a major hand in murdering hundreds of thousands of Syrians and Iraqis, who backs the Saudi war on Yemen, who is trying to replace Turkish Islam with Wahhabism, who has all but eliminated freedom of the press, who has falsely imprisoned journalists, who has betrayed the Palestinian cause too many times to count, rigged elections and maintained a regime of corruption with numerous members of his kin that rivals any dictatorship in history. But none of that means the Turkish Armed Forces are paragons of resistance and revolution. Quite to the contrary.
